Completed about 10 years ago this Maverick is unique in every way. Setup with 3.00 gears the car cruises great at highway speeds and gets a surprising 18 mpg. The rebuilt big block has plenty of power to keep imports at bay. The car runs a very consistent 12.50 @ 108 mph in the 1/4 mile in street trim with the 3.00 gears. The car does have a nitrous system installed however the motor has never been sprayed to my knowledge. With the nitrous the car should dip into the 11s. The motor is fairly mild and has very good street manners. This car can be driven anywhere and has been on a few 8 hr round trips.
Everything on this car was rebuilt during the restoration. The car has less then 5,000 miles on it since being completely redone. However, the car has been used and therefore there are some imperfections. The paint is still very nice but there are a few scuffs and scratches. The pictures make the car look like a number one car however I personally would put it at a number two. There is nothing that doesn't work but a few things that could be improved.
