V8 POWER....AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION....NICE PAINT...PONY INTERIOR
1965 Ford Mustang
FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION we have for sale a real good looking 1965 Mustang coupe, its a C VIN code meaning it was born with a 289 engine, the engine runs sweet, it has a C4 automatic transmission, power steering, MSD ignistion, dual exhaust, AM/FM CD player, very nice white Pony interior, guage cluster in front of consol, big BF Goodrich tires on Magnum rims, the red paint is nice, it has more of a cherry red look with lots of tiny metallic and look like a little pearl to me.
VIN 5F07C614096
MILES: 69892 reading today and who really knows, it is exempt by age on old cars.
LOT OF PICTURES BELOW, just scroll down to see them all.
HOW IS THE PAINT? I consider it nice paint, its a super shinny cherry red color with a billant shine, the body is straight to look down the sides, no big dints, I see no rust bubbles, I see on tiny ding about the size of a dime on top of the passengers front fender. The paint is nice, but don't get me wrong its not a $30,000 roll out of the trailer show queen, its upper end driver, if you look for a spec you might find one.
HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Very good looking Pony interior, I see no real wear or holes. The dash pad has no cracks, the carpet looks new, seat covers good.
HEADLIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK!
BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK!
GAS GUAGE WORKS! OIL GUAGE WORKS!
WIPERS WORK! SPEEDOMETER WORKS!
HORN NOT WORKING!
HOW ARE THE TIRES AND WHEELS? Tires are BF Goodrich 245/60/14, they are way bigger than the car came with, fronts rub a litte on full turn backing out of my garage, but I have not heard them rub on the road. Rims are Magnum 500s, they do have pits and dulling.
HOW IS THE CHROME? Good bumpers and other chrome nice to my eyes.
HOW IS THE GLASS? Windshield clear, side glasses roll up and down good.
HOW IS THE STEERING? I consider the car driving good for a early Mustang, it is power steering.
HOW ARE THE BRAKES? 4 wheel drums, stop like drums do, just OK or decent.
HOW IS THE BODY PANELS AND FIT? The body panel is as most early Mustangs, not perfect, but passable. The hood is fiber glass and graps are not perfect, but it sure looks good with the Shelby style built in scoop.
HOW MUCH RUST REPAIR? Out side of body panels look real good, the floor bottoms and rear quarters have been replaced, that beter than bodo repair.
I did not go over the car with a magnet because I see no bubbles or cracks.
WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303.
