1967 Ford Fairlane

This 67 Fairlane project was completed 8 months ago and sat in storage most of that time. The odometer was changed and reads actual mileage since being redone. It currently shows only 302 miles and is barely broken in. It does Not have the typical dings dents and chips as one typically would see on a car with thousands of miles that were restored some years back.

This is a rare opportunity to own a newly built car.

The car has the following….

Straightened and polished stainless trim. Rechromed front and rear bumpers. Polished aluminum front trim. Urethane basecoat/clearcoat block wet sanded and polished with new stripes. Paint finish is very smooth and highly reflective (pictures you see are without any wax on paint). New tinted windshield. New remote controlled door side mirror. Polished and refinished deck lid trim. Modified power domes to eliminate chrome trim piece where turn light indicators are on hood. New 390 fender badges new antenna new outer door handles buttons and seals new door wheather strip new lock cylinders new inner and outer door glass seals.

FE 390 seasoned block hot tanked line honed squared bored and honed .030 over. Crank reground and polished .010/.010. Rods resized. New pistons rings pins and clips. New main rod and cam bushings. New rod bushings. New oil pump and driveshaft. New camshaft (mild street grind) lifters and pushrods. New timing chain sprockets and valves. New Eldebrock intake and carburetor. New valve covers (modified to fit application) and air cleaner. New points condensor rotor cap wires high output coil and plugs. New fuel pump. New heater and radiator hoses with new aluminum radiator and new belts. New power steering lines. New battery solenoid high output alternator (for stereo amp) and rebuilt starter. New windshield washer pump.

New clutch pressure plate and re-surfaced flywheel. New throwout and pilot bearing.

Top loader 4 speed completely rebuilt with new bearings bushings syncros and new 2nd gear. New Hurst competition plus shifter. New universal joints. Posi rearend with 3.55 gears rebuilt with new clutches bearings and seals.

Power brakes with new master cylinder rebuilt booster with new internals. The problematic original kelsey hayes setup was replaced in favor of a 1968 mustang disc setup. Spindles were replaced with new wheel bearings and seals new rotors rebuilt calipers with new hardware. Rear drum brakes have new wheel cylinders new brake shoes with all new hardware and like new drums resurfaced. E-brake has all new cables front to rear. All new front and rear brake hoses. New brake hard lines.

New coil springs (original 390 springs with ½ coil removed) new spring seats new ball joints new lower control arms (1968 mustang) new strut rods (1968 mustang) and bushing kits new heavy duty 1” sway bar and bushing kits frame connectors new gas shocks front and rear new leaf springs bushings and shackles. New engine and tranny mounts. Gas tank cleaned and relined.

New alumi coat exhaust with flowmasters.

New wheels and tires.

New heat and sound insulation installed throughout interior compartment. All new front and rear seat covering and seat backs new door panels new headliner new dash top new carpet new armrests new GT door emblems new chrome door handles and window cranks. Re chromed and re-lettered dash bezel. New steering wheel. New scuff plates. Straightened and polished seat trim. Customized 66 dash trim new chrome sun visor pivot rods new rear shelf panel new trunk mat

Alpine head unit audiobahn amp with Apline front speakers and JBL rear speakers.

Please note that this restoration took about 3 years and "new" parts were purchased throughout that time frame. I am sure I missed some things especially since so much was done. Will be happy to try and answer any questions.

Car gets alot of looks and compliments everywhere I take it. It is exceptionally clean and detailed as the pictures show. I have another project and would like to free up some space.
