| Up for auction is this very solid 1929 Ford Model A Town Car four door sedan. This Ford has spent most of its life in sunny Florida until 1996 when the current owner bout the car and brought it to Indiana. The car still has the plate from Florida. Since being in Indiana it has never been registered or driven on the roads. It has always been stored inside and heated and A/C shop. As you can see from the pictures this is a nice looking car! The owner has done some work in the 19 years of owning it including replacing the wood roof structure inside the car. Recently he replaced the external roof. The red and black paint looks great for its age. The closer you get to the vehicle you will see some minor blemishes but nothing too bad. All the glass is in good shape and the windows all roll up and down. The chrome on the car also looks good for its age. To make sure that this Model A was ready for the new owner a rebuilt carburetor and battery were installed. The original 4 cyl engine has been rebuilt to original condition including Babbit bearings, she purrs like a kitten. The odometer shows only 804 miles. As you can see from the video this is a running and driving car. The interior looks to all be there but is in need of a restoration. This would make a great vehicle for someone to restore to its former glory or someone who would like to keep just as it sits. Either way you could drive and enjoy this piece of automobile history. We reserve the right to re-list and sell the Vehicle to another party in the event of failure to comply with this policy. In most cases Top Shelf Reps has not seen or inspected the Vehicles we represent online. Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this Vehicle to you. The owner of this Vehicle has tried to disclose all information known about this Vehicle for auction. We welcome and recommend a buyer's inspection. If you plan to have a buyers inspection, please make sure you inspect the Vehicle prior to the auction ending. Buyer is responsible for any inspection charges and fees.
