428CJ “R” cod, G, Shaker, 4 spee, Coupe. One of the rarest ever built. Only 48 Mustang 6, 428cj were built as a GT COUPE with manual 4 speed transmission . That number is before breaking down the options and colors.

Documented with Marti report and original dealer bill of sale. I also have dealer pink receipts of deposit on order and work order from the dealer service department. Has original dealer name plate on trunk lid.

“R” code car with close ratio 4 speed top loader . 9” Nodular rear end with 31 splines axles shaft with staggered shock . This car is a nice example of an unmolested musclecar that survived without headers and other modifications of that period . I had the engine refreshed in 2004 . It is still standard bore . This car was not restored .The paint was done sometime in the 80’s and still show extremely well . I have started to clean the undercarriage and the red oxide primer shows up . The cleaning will need to be completed. The odometer shows 38,000 miles. The last mileage recorded was in 1971 at 13,000 miles .I cannot confirm mileage so let’s suppose it is 138,000 miles.

The buyer will have the choice between original styled steel wheels with white sidewall radial tires or a set of green steel wheels with dog dish hub cap and vintage Goodyear polyglass tires . The car comes with original correct shifter lever ( lever only) and correct vacuum advance .

This car was stored in early 80’s by previous owner and I had it for 15 years and it has been a part of my private collection ever since I bought it . So it has been out of the market for 35 years . Now, I have decided to let it go . I might regret i, who knows ? I am up to something else now .

O, Can keep the car inside my garage for a period of time ( to be discuss with the buyer) to wait for the transporter to pick-up.

Remaining payment due within 7 days by wire transfer if the car is to be pick-up by a transporter at my location ( transportation cost at buyers expenses) . If car is not paid within 7 day, I reserve the right to relist the car and the $2000 deposit will not be paid back.
