1970 Ford Mustang R-CODE

1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1, Calypso Coral paint & Vermilion Interior. 428 cobra Jet, 4spd, with very desirable options check the Deluxe Marti report for details.The engine is a 1968 Ford 428CJ that is bored .20 over and is professionally built to make aprox 450 HP.The engine has 0 miles on it, it has just been test ran to be broken in.The Ford Top Loader Transmission was custom built, wide ratio and custom short throw threaded shift rods.Correct Hurst shifter and T- handle.New performance flywheel and clutch assembly.Easy clutch pedal.The rear end is a Ford N case 9" Traction lock with 3.50 gear ratio.large spline axles. The rear end was professionally assembled ( I can not verify that, other then the axles). All Brakes lines, master cylinder, power booster, rotor, drums, calipers and e brake cables replaced ( the lower bracket needs to be welded to the floor pan).Custom aluminium Radiator that has been black Thermo-Coated. Additional pictures can be provided. Money spent on parts from Mansfield Mustang $3,131.00. NPD $1,425.00. Summit Racing $1279.00 . Additional invoices that total more the $15,000.00 in parts.Door Panels are factory correct, all seats have been redone. Factory seat belts, restored trunk door, restored center counsel new reproduction interior panels,new front Carlite windshield, heat / sound insulation extra roll included.Restored 1970 Shaker assembly (extra- mid plate) with Snorkel. NOS or restored correct dual point distributor(difficult to find & expensive) . Restored correct Ford radiator cooling fan (difficult to find & expensive). extra flex fans provided. New Magnaflow stainless exhaust system.
The vehicle will need to be completed, Missing bumpers & brackets, side windows can be restored or replaced. Driver side window and Passenger side do not match one is Tinted. VERY IMPORTANT, the engine fitment is extremely tight due to the factory steel reinforcement on shock towers.The custom exhaust headers in the engine picture were removed and new Thermo-Coated exhaust manifolds installed.The engine still has minimal side clearance and additional adjustments should be made.Total control engine mounts have been installed (new replacement factory mounts included) Passenger side door does not line up that great to quarter panel.all body panels need to be lined up, fenders not totally secured ( VIN stamped on both fender aprons under front fenders).
It appears that the rear quarter panels and the floor was replaced before I purchased the vehicle.
This Mustang will be very rare and desirable when completed.
