From the drivetrain to the body to the interior this car has endured time without wear. It has been well maintained and has received only 1 repaint back in the 80s. This numbers matching A code Fastback is a rare find with its great running original 289 V8 4V engine and a 4 speed Top Loader transmission. The 3:50 rear gear ratio allows for fun highway cruising but also provides power to the payment when desired! The trim tag tells us that this car left Lansing Mi (Dearborn Plant) with a Caspian blue hue and medium blue crinkle vinyl interior sporting bucket seats seatbelts and an ever so popular center console. The interior also sports a remote driver door mirror. This is an additional option that not all Mustangs received. The only change to the cars originality comes from the wheel swap. The Eagle alloy polished aluminum 17 wheels wrapped with performance tires gives this Stang an aggressive modern look and stance plus allows for a much better grip when hugging those corners while driving. The original spinner hubcaps & 14 steel wheels were saved and are included with the sale. Holding to the preservation of originality after the repaint the original dealership emblem was reattached to the rear tail light panel and the leather keychain from that dealership still holds the original keys!!
