Description:

1964 Ford Fairlane 2 door sports coupe

I am the second owner of this car after purchasing it from my grandmother in 1983 and am selling it because of downsizing. It's a dream to drive. The over all condition is excellent. It has 88,600 miles. It was repainted the original color (Dessert Tan) in the 80s and still has a glossy finish. It's never been waxed. There are some minor rust speckles on the rear passenger quarter panels along with a few minor scratches. Both bumpers have been rechromed and look shiny and new. The carpet is loose inside and may be salvageable after anchoring the corners.
The engine and transmission both operate great. The tires perform well, have no flat spots and look great. I drive it about a 100 miles during the summers just to keep it functioning. A fun fact: this car appears in the Coen Brothers movie, Serious Man. Google the movie and images and you'll see it in the final scene. Buyer is responsible for shipping.
