This is a good running car.Starts up right away, uns great. Never overheats. Bodycoulduse a paint job. ( see photos) Minor surface rust in spots.To my knowledge, ll body parts, ngine and transmission are original. No re-pro stuff. Interior is in good shape from being re-done in the 60's. Engine has new rings. The crank shaft appears to be standard size and is in great shape. Rods are good too.All engine components seem to be fine and it runs great. Adjusted all of the valves last year. I've use it for nice long drives in the country, arades, ity, tc. Never a problem. Magneto does not work. It has a two speed Ruckstell Rear End. That works great too. You can climb any hill you want with this. I have installed Rocky Mountain accessory brakes on it for added safety. I have replaced the original windshield glass with safety glass. I installed NEVER WEAR material on all of the transmission bands. I have installed a 6 volt coil and a VW distributor. You can easily go back to coil boxes if you are a purist. Top will need to be replaced as it is dry rotting. Top cover boot is not the correct one for the car, ut it works and looks ok. Overall this is a nice car, ut not without little sins. I've had a ball with this over the 12 years I've owned it, ut I'm moving to Florida and not taking it with me. Gonna miss it. Great vehicle to go out and get an ice cream. Always turns a lot of heads! I have a trailer which will be extra if you are interested.
