1933 Ford Other 1933 FORD ROADSTER, MODEL B, Ambr winner

This rare piece of hot rod history was built by the late Don Thelen of Buffalo Motor Cars…previous to this build Don had built John Siroonian’s 1932 Ford which in 1981 took home the most coveted award in hot rodding…..The award for Americas Most Beautiful Roadster (aka AMBR)….After achieving this Don was ready to do all over again but he needed someone with not only the funds but also the desire to accomplish this task….This is where Jim and Florine McNamara come into the story….Jim and Florine were no strangers to the hot rodding scene or the Grand National Roadster Show (Oakland) themselves having come close as a top contender in 1983….After coming to an agreement on the build Don called upon legendary hot rod designer Thom Taylor to help put his vision on paper…Thom himself has been apart of the Grand National Roader show himself and has designed cars along side many other industry greats like Boyd Coddington Chip Foose and many others…..see below for additional info….
