1960 Ford F-100

This is the 1960 Ford Truck labeled the "Watch Dog" truck connected to legendary race car driver Phil Bonner. The truck was featured in Vintage Truck, uscle Car review and other publications. The article from Vintage Truck Magazine tells the story of the truck better than I can so I have included it below.

The truck has a 292 V8 with Automatic that runs fantastic. The engine does not smoke and does not have any blow by. The trans shifts out like it should. Windows go up and down and doors close crisp. All lights work, orn works. Wiper works. Truck is a driver. Would be perfect to keep as is or a great candidate for a resto mod. 427 anyone?
Referred to as the big brother to Phil Bonners Ford Thunderbolt referenced in the above articles. The bones are extremely solid and the patina is absolutely perfect. Truck runs and drives great and stands tall on its own. The connection to Phil and the fact that for 20 years the truck stood guard over a half million dollar car is also pretty cool.
