Offered for sale is a car you don't see every day. Before I wrote this ad, tried to find another one, ut couldn't. I don't know how many were made, r how many are still left...but my guess isn't many because I couldn't find any. I had the car on Craig's List for a few weeks, nd it got a lot of attention, ut nobody willing to reach in their pockets and pay for it.I wanted to put it on EBay so the car can be seen by a worldwide market. I know someone, omewhere, s dying to have it. All you have to do is bid until the reserve is met (and I feel it's a low reserve for a car like this) AND be the high bidder. Simple Enough !!!
The car is NOT a show car. The car is NOT a museum piece. The car is NOT perfect. If you expect any of those things, his is NOT the car for you. If you're looking for a car that you can jump in, tart easily, rive around and be different...then this car is for you. It starts quickly, dles well, oesn't smoke or knock, nd doesn't have any strange noises. It goes into gear smoothly, nd shifts perfectly. It steers effortlessly, t accelerates nicely, nd stops beautifully with it's all-new brakes. Mechanically, t's surprisingly good. If you decode the VIN, ou'll see it's an Ohio-built,REAL GT convertible with a 351.
The paint is old...probably 20+ years old. It's presentable, ut by no means excellent. There is body filler, here are a few rust spots here and there, nd some chipped/checked paint, tc. The worst spot, n my opinion, s the inner wheel well of the right rear tire (see photo). The left rear one is fine. The rear bumper has decent chrome, ut has a few bends that need to be straightened. All of the GT emblems are in good shape. Nothing really needs to be changed, ust cleaned, olished, nd smoothed out.All of the body panels appear to be original. The trunk is rust-free. It has the correct wheels and hubcapswith matching spare. The photos were taken today, nd I didn't wash it or anything else. I drove it up to the lake, napped a few pictures, then drove it back to work.
The interior is original looking, nd as you can see in the photos, t's presentable just as it is. The top is excellent, nd the back window looks perfect and clear. The radio is an old, ftermarket one, nd it comes on, ut doesn't make any noise. The power top works, ut is a little slow. The windows roll up and down easily, ut need minor adjustments to seal completely. All of those things mentioned are normal for an old car that hasn't been restored and are relatively simple fixes.
I feel the car is a great example of an affordable, lassic cruiser. It's worthy of the investment of at least a partial restoration. Being a rare GT convertible, t has to be worth a little time and money. Being a car you can jump in and drive away, t's already was ahead of the basket cases out there for sale.
The car is located in Port Charlotte, lorida, n the west coast of the state, bout 90 miles south of Tampa. It's close to I-75, o if you're the winning bidder and want to ship it, t's very easy to get to. If you're the winning bidder and are feeling adventurous andwant to drive it home, ou can be on theinterstate in 10 minutes. Regardless of how it leaves, t must be paid in full PRIOR to it leaving. Please lets not waste each other's time. Serious buyers will ask the questions they need answers to, nd will honor their bid and pay/pick up in a timely manner. Clean, lear title in hand...ready to hand over to the winner. Text me at 941-740-2277, mail me through EBay, r call me, ut if I miss the call, eave a message and I'll get in touch with you as time permits. Texts and emails usually get a much quicker response. Thanks for looking, ood luck, nd Happy Bidding.

I've had several emails about the car asking about what it needs. Nothing really. It can be a daily driver just as it is.It has had a lot of recent work done, o include new tires, rakes, une-up, luids, tc. Jump in it and go. It's a great car to restore because it's all there, Of course, ou can take it to the next level by doing paint, nterior, uspension, xhaust, nd so on...but you don't have to. It could be driven like it is.With a few touch-ups and adjustments, ou'd have a pretty great car just like it is. It's not priced like a perfect car, nd it's a very fair price for a car that can be driven just like it sits. Even if you were to find another, t won't bein this price range. It's a rare, estorable classic and ready to go now.Text or email if you'd like to make an offer to buy it now and have me end the auction early.941-740-2277
