Partial list of what we’ve had replaced. restored. or rebuilt over the past 5 years: Engine: Original 4-bbl “teapot” carburetor professionally rebuilt by Pony Carburetors. Inc. ; high output water pump. pulley & fan; radiator. hoses. belt; installed Pertronix point-less ignition for greater reliability; replaced oil-bath air cleaner with paper filter air cleaner. Exterior: New tires; hardtop headliner replaced. hardtop repainted 3 years ago; replaced entire dual exhaust system from manifolds back to bumper; new gas tank; original 4-leaf springs replaced with new 5-leaf springs; all new shock absorbers; all four brakes rebuilt; all new fuel lines from tank to engine; electric fuel pump added;; all new chrome emblems & badges; windwing glass. Interior: Steering wheel; turn signal switch; carpet. floor mats. drop curtain behind seat; front and rear floorpans and braces all replaced; mechanical brakelight switch added safety; heater blower motor; various instruments & gauges; tach and speedo cables.
