No Reserve Auction…………. Bought this all original 1961 Fiat 1200 Cabriolet from the original California owner. This is a rare special coach built version (Vetture Speciali)from the factory with red/black interior and red carpet and the corresponding emblem on the right front fender. The car sat in his garage for over 40 years. California rust free car except for a few minor spots as pictured. Frame, underside, floors and rockers are all solid and rust free, saving you a lot of money, time and headache. Never wrecked or involved in an accident except for parking lot dent on the right front fender and one above the grill.Very honest car excellent door and hood gaps and lines, a wonderful candidate for a concourse restoration. Has the original Webber carburettor, the radiator and the gas tank are completely flushed and sealed professionally. The brakes shoes and the brake hoses are renewed or reconditioned as needed. New battery, plugs and wires. Clutch and the transmission are smooth and in excellent condition. The engine condition is unknow. I have only driven the car up and down my street once since the tires are old and cracked and out of round, and what sounds to me like a noisy water pump but not sure and didn’t wanna take a chance. The soft top frame is solid and works well but the soft top is perished. The interior and the seats look darker shade of red in the pictures and the seat foams are in poor shape. Nice original tonneau cover, spare wheel, spare wheel cover, trunk rubber mat, service manual, a small new diecast model and some extra parts are included. The speedometer works but not the other gauges. Working Head lights and turn signals. Trunk push button does not work. Unfortunately I cannot continue working on it the way I would like to any more due to health reasons and would rather let someone else enjoy it. Have the original registration and some paperwork. California clean title in my name and on Non-operational status. Looks like an Alfa Giulia or Giulietta.$500 non refundable deposit within 24 hrs. and the balance in cash only.
