1983 Fiat Azzurra
1983 Fiat Azzurra --
In 1982, after more than 50 years of designing cars for other companies, Pininfarina became a true automobile manufacturer, taking over from Fiat the companies most successful design, the Sport Spider. To this timeless sports car design - now 17 years old - Sergio added "over 100 design and engineering improvements", and renamed his beauty The Azzurra in America and Spider Europa in Europe. The last of the 124 Spiders had a multitude of upgrades making it the most desirable... of all the models. This gorgeous 1984 Pininfarina Azzurra is a perfect example why! The original 2.0L is still intact in the engine bay and the 5-speed manual is a blast to drive through the gears. The underside does have one spot on the passenger side of the car where they have patched a rust concern from the topside. But beyond that the floors are actually in really good shape. The paint shows very well and mechanically this car shines very well. This borderline time capsule of a car will transport you right back to 1984!
