1979 Fiat 124 Spider

I have owned this little jewel for about eight years. It is by no means a "Show Car". However, it has taken a number of awards in local car shows around Central Georgia. I also would not classify it as a " daily driver". What it is, is a great little "weekend fun car", just perfect for the mountains and the beaches. I am only selling it because of time and health. I'm 82 years old and time has got my health. During the time I've owned the car I have added a few things: timing belt, head gasket, electric engine fan switch, water pump spark plug, water hoses, and electric fuel pump. The fuel lines and fuel tank have recently been cleaned. Lines replaced as needed. The engine also has been slightly modified; the original carburetor was replaced with a Weber Progressive Carburetor 32/36 DFEV, which was rebuilt on 02/10/2018 and the 1979 intake manifold has been replaced with a 1974 intake manifold. Much better performance. The starter was also rebuilt on 02/10/2018 and a new distributor advance was installed. Original carburetor and intake will be included with the sale.
