1973 Fiat Spyder
1973 Fiat 850 Sport Spyder For only $9,500VIN 100GBS1024734
Runs and drives, tons of extra parts. This one is rust free and structurally, mechanically, and cosmetically sound. And it has a cool paint job and comes with lots of extra parts (see list below). Features a 0.9 liter rear-mounted, water-cooled motor driving the rear wheels through a four speed transmission.
This car gets lots of smiles and thumbs up out on the road. The new owner gets two convertible tops and a hard top
This is a 40-year-old Fiat. It is not a daily driver. It's a weekend toy for someone who likes tinkering. Indeed, right now it fires right up and runs perfectly for 10 minutes or so, then just stalls. So it will need minor servicing from sitting most likely to the fuel pump.
Overall this is a very rare and early 850 Spider, Truly a lot of car for the money.
Extras that come with the car, sourced from (I believe) a 1972 Sport Spyder:
Motor
Transmission
Weber DIC 30 carburetor, disassembled but complete except for fast idle valve
Two convertible frames, one with a good vinyl top on it, one with a fair vinyl top on it
Fiberglass hardtop, fair condition, apparently never installed, since it doesn"t have the front latches attached
Six wheels with ancient rubber on them
Radiator
Windshield and side windows
Front and rear bumpers
Gauges
Exterior lights
Exterior trim and badges
Steering wheel
two very big boxes full of mechanical, electrical, interior and exterior parts specific to this model
