FERRARI 1981 308 GTSi RED/BLACK
1981 Ferrari 308
This is a 1981 Ferrari 308 GTSi, red (Rosso Corsa) exterior with black leather interior, fuel-injected 2.9l quad-cam V-8, 5 speed manual, Michelin tires TRX 220 55 VR 390 (still in great condition). Same owner for 23 years. The cover of the Pioneer stereo was taken off and a plaque commemorating Ferrari's drivers and constructors championships was put on. Slight dent (see picture) at bottom of driver's door (I drop the door on a candle many years ago). Air conditioning was taken off many years ago. I still have the condenser (bad shape) and the compressor (still in good shape). All main bills and maintenance records are in 2 binders (see picture). One binder has copies of parts manual with lots of notes, owner's manual, relays, fuses and wiring diagrams. Original owner's manual (good condition with some wear). Tool kit is not complete (see picture). Driver's seat shows lots of wear after 44 years, passenger seat looks awesome still. Paint has a few chips and touched up paint but nothing bad, about 1/3 (back and lower doors) of the car was painted 11 years ago but you can't tell if you don't know. Birdman's fuse boxes were put on 3 years ago. In 2023, new sound and heat shield was put on the floor, inside the doors and wall fire. Gas gauge works but always stops at 1/4. All other gauges work even the clock and lighter. All 14 relays were changed last summer except A. Look at the picture of the list of JOBS DONE to get a better idea of what has been done. It has a lot of mileage (108000 miles) because I drove it long distance often (Toronto, Boston, Atlantic City) over the years.
