One of Pininfarina’s most iconic designs from the 1970s and ’80s is the Ferrari 308. Design was moved well-forward from the previous 246 Dino designs. The 308 was an instant hit and became one of Ferrari’s most iconic models. The “Quattrovalvole” was introduced at the 1982 Paris Motor show. The updates to the engine were four valves per cylinder which helped to increase the 308’s horsepower. Originally sold by Los Gatos Ferrari, this 308 GTSi QV was in single ownership from new until 2015. Since, it has been owned by a collector and well-known personality-contributor to the classic automobile world. Ok, ok, he is also a very good friend of ours! :) That said, this 308 GTSi has been driven regularly on vintage tours and rallies since 2016. This 308 GTSi features an optional European front spoiler, period Alpine cassette with power antenna, power windows, air conditioning, and TRX wheels with correct Michelin XWX tires. The 308 remains completely stock including emissions equipment pass stringent California emissions tests. This 308 has always been maintained and serviced properly with records dating back to its first dealer service. It is complete with its original books, tools, keys, original window sticker and binder of service records. This 308 is superb throughout. It runs, drives, shifts exceptionally well and as one should. A well sorted and cared for Ferrari 308 and a welcome addition to another garage or collection.
