1979 FERRARI 308 GTS FINISHED IN GIALLO OVER NERO LEATHER 8 CYLINDER 205 HP 5-SPEED MANUAL REAR WHEEL DRIVE

This GTS was sold new in Los Angeles on May 15, 1979. It was purchased by "The 6 Million Dollar Man" himself, Lee Majors. At the time Lee was married to Farrah Fawcett they owned this until sometime in the mid to late 1980's then it was sold to the second owner from Southern CA. It has always been located in warmer weather. This Ferrari is exceptionally well documented all the way back to new and has an binder full of receipts and records.

These records date back to 88 and go to the present owner. It is contained in two large binders, so it is extensive. The most recent receipts show a rebuild and adjustment of the Carbs, rebuild alternator, replaced mainshaft bearing and adjusted the clutch, as well as a few other minor items. This work was just done at an authorized Ferrari dealer in August 2017 with 43k miles on it. Two other recent service invoices are included which show Cam Belt replacement along with tensioners, A/C belt, Front crank seal, coolant flush, brake flush, new York A/C compressor and A/C Drier, 4 new tires and new battery terminals in August 2014. This car has more service history then I have ever seen on a car. This includes original owners manual, printed owners manual in a binder, service manual in a binder and wiring diagrams on CD. You will have all the information you could need to work on this vehicle.
Beyond having a pristine paint job somewhere along the way, this car has been kept original and drives like a dream. This is much better then the average 308 out there, this car is the real deal and has been loved it's whole life!
