1971 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spyder Replica

1971 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spyder replica built on a 1974 Corvette chassis and powered by a 1990 GM 5.7 liter L-98 tuned-port fuel injected "TPI" engine. A GM 700R4 automatic transmission mates with a Dana independent rear end sitting on 15 inch Dayton 80 spoke chrome wire wheels wrapped with Pirelli P500 radial tires. P225's on the front and P235's on the rear create an awesome stance and great handling.

The interior has a two-tone tan/black Ferrari layout with VDO gauges, a Nardi wood steering wheel, Sony AM/FM stereo, power steering, power windows and air conditioning. This stunning car is painted in Ferrari red with a black folding soft top, dual sport mirrors and dual exhaust with four chrome tipped pipes.

The condition of the body, top and interior is excellent and the car runs and sounds great. This model Ferrari was featured in the 1980's hit series, Miami Vice which made it an icon in the exotic sports car world. The car in the series was also a replica Daytona which spawned an industry of Daytona Spyder replica manufacturers as the demand for the car surged. In an effort to protect the Ferrari marque, Ferrari corporate proceeded to shut down these replica manufacturers through legal action which led to the production of these replicas to cease. Accordingly, those few remaining replica Daytona Spyders that are still in existence are rare and valuable. Values for the original factory Daytona's are currently in the $2 million range.

This car is a traffic stopper that draws a crowd wherever it goes. The car has a clean title and is rust and worry free.
