This 1959 Edsel Corsair is an original. The owner has had it for 5 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives.
Vehicle Details
Original California car, was driven to Wisconsin in 1979 and stored away until I bought it in 2019. I installed a rebuilt 390 engine in it from a 64 Ford along with a rebuilt 3spd cruise a matic transmission. 4 new tires, all new brakes with a dual master cylinder upgrade. New fuel tank and aluminum radiator. New quiet dual exhaust. Car runs and drives great. All glass is good. 99% rust free body except for a couple holes in the Rocker panels as pictured.
The Convertible top is torn and rear window is bad. The top does not go up or down on its own, I lift it manually. Paint is worn and car has numerous scratches and blemishes also pictured. Interior is Original, nice door panels and rear seat. Front power seat needs restoration, no carpet. I removed it due to age, smell and poor condition. Lights all work except stop lights due to master cylinder change. I've put around 500 miles on the car in the summers cruising it around on hot sunny days or nights. Clear WI title in my name.
