1970 Dodge Charger R/T SE

UPDATE! Car now includes a 1970 Dodge Coronet Parts car. This car has all the structural sheet metal needed for the charger in great shape. Up for sale is my 1970 Dodge Charger R/T SE. This is a real 70 R/T SE with the original VIN tag, fender tag, door sticker and body stamps. I have a clean Texas title in my name for it. As per the fender tag it was originally FY4 light gold with green SE leather interior, green vinyl top and white longitudinal stripes. Very interesting and rare 70s luxury muscle car combo. For starters the car is rough and will need complete restoration, however it is still very restorable. Being that all it's original body numbers are intact and it's the top of the line R/T SE this will be a very valuable car when restored. The original 440 engine, 727 transmission and 8 3/4 rear end are gone. The car comes with a correct 68-70 b body 8 3/4 housing with axles, no third member is included. The rear end is a good core to rebuild, also comes with new factory style shackles and U bolts. The front end still has the power steering box and linkages present, and the drums are free. The car rolls easily and will be able to roll on and off a trailer. Rust wise the car isn't too out of the ordinary for a charger. It will definitely need a floor pan, torsion bar cross member, trunk pan, quarters and the right rear frame rail. The front frame rails, left rear frame rail, left rocker, roof, rear seat pan, a pillars, left wheel house, etc... are all workable. The coronet parts car has all of the needed structural parts to repair the charger. This will save you thousands and original metal always fits best. The exterior sheet metal is still quite solid, but as you can see its got plenty of dents. The fenders and passenger door have almost zero rust and could be bodyworked and reused. The coronet comes with a complete solid drivers door that can be reskinned for the charger. The car was in an accident and poorly repaired many years ago. They spliced in a replacement right inner and outer rocker, so those parts will need to be replaced again properly to make the car right. The rocker on the coronet is in great shape and can be cut out as one whole assembly. It's pretty stripped, but does still have many good parts on it. The 3 speaker rallye dash frame is there and serviceable, as is the skid plate K member. Both are rare and expensive to buy. The grill is complete and can definitely be repaired, another expensive piece. The car also still has most of the trim, passenger and rear glass, heater box, console shifter, 3 speed wiper motor, tail lights and all four bumper guards. The coronet has the needed windshield trim, left tinted glass and many extra little parts like a pillar trims and sun visors in green. $10,000 firm for the pair, both must go together. Will require a nonrefundable $250 deposit within 24hr, and full payment must be made in cash within 7 days of purchase. The cars are located in Southlake, TX and will need to be picked up within 2 weeks of purchase with a trailer and winch. You can text me at 860-265-6211 for any further questions.
