1927 Dodge Brothers CoupePurchased in February 2023 from a liquidation sale of a Midwest museum. Mechanically, the scope was to spend the last year returning it to fully operational status. Every effort was made to preserve its survivor condition. This is a great parade car or vehicle for going to visit the ice cream parlor. Comfortable and smooth running. Very authentic for those that appreciate the Roaring 20’s era automobiles.Specs:Engine: Original Inline 4 cylinder “Fast-4”Transmission: 3-speed manual non-synchronized gearbox closed driveshaft.Interior: BlackExterior: BlueVIN: D980-276Mileage: 23071Items Completed:Had all 5 wooden wheels trued and rim locks fabricated. Best four are on the ground. Replaced all 5 tires and tubes with Excelsior 4.75 x 21” original sizes. Repaired back hatch latch and lock to open properly. Tightened the steering.Rebuilt the starter with new brushes and bushings. Replaced the headlamps with new factory lamps and replated the chrome reflectors. Repaired the Stewart-Warner vacuum fuel pump.Removed the fuel tank and epoxy lined the original to prevent rust, and replaced all fuel lines. All fluids flushed and replaced with OE spec.
