Description:

1992 Dodge Viper RT-10

The first-generation Viper was designed in-house at Chrysler by Tom Gale and utilizes composite body panels over a tubular steel space-frame chassis. This example is finished in Viper Red (PRN) and features fog lights, a removable soft vinyl top, a removable rear window, zip-up vinyl side windows, a tonneau cover, a forward-opening clamshell hood, and side-exit exhaust outlets. The 17″ tri-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin XGT Z tires measuring 275/40 up front and 335/35 out back. The RT/10 is equipped with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, a four-wheel independent suspension, and four-wheel vented disc brakes with front Viper-branded calipers. 1992 models were not equipped with ABS. The 8.0-liter OHV V10 was factory rated at 400 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

This specimen has a 2 owner history, clean title, and is a CarFax Certified vehicle.

One of the very first hand built Vipers, and an absolute unicorn. Rarely do you find them for

sales complete, with all tops, windows, covers, keys, books, and documentation. Being it's a 32+ year old hand built car it does have some imperfections that most if not all do, such as the light fading on the front passenger side dash. Aside for a few small typical flaws this serpent is in showroom condition.

This vehicles 100% complete and unmodified. It's done through recent extensive service and needs nothing. It's still sitting on 1992 original factory tires. If you plan on driving it buy a new backup set of tires and keep the factory originals.

Vehicle is sold as is with no remainder warranty.
