This is a very rare and unusual example of the wonderful Dodge Raider produced by Mitsubishi for only 3 years from 1987-1989, in that it has a tow package, roof mounted carrier, and Mitsubishi sound system. Combine that with a vehicle in extremely good condition inside and out (photos are pretty good but really don't do this beauty justice.) Inside, the upholstery is in great shape as it has been protected by good looking custom seat covers. The dash also has been protected by custom "made to fit" covers so there is no sun damage as with so many other Raiders on the market. Headliner perfect, sunshades perfect, rear door panel and side panels perfect. Outside, the beautiful Monaco Red factory paint is in what I consider to be almost show room condition as it has been well maintained with an annual detailed wax/protective coating procedure. Spectacular Chrome Wheels, on even the rear mounted spare, are in wonderful condition as well. Aluminum running boards. Windshield was just recently replaced as it had a couple of rock chips. New battery. Air blows cold, heater blows hot and everything works! And here's the most important mechanical feature of this impressive Classic....The 3.0 Liter V-6 engine was replaced at about 85,000 miles and the new one has only 24,000 gentle miles on it. Oil changed religiously every 3,000 miles. Engine heater installed but never really used as this baby was always garaged!If you are looking for a real "head turner" as well as a reliable 4 wheel drive Classic driver, look no further. THIS IS IT!!I have been offered $10,000 by a local classic car collector/enthusiast and promised him I will go that route after no more than 2 weeks listed on this site should no one grab this wonderful vehicle.
