Truck was originally from Arizona. I had it shipped up here in 2011, and has never seen a winter. Was my personal daily driver all this time and drives stops and steers very well. Truck has LE package, A518 overdrive Trans, 12V VE pump Intercooled Cummins Engine, 235/85/16 Tires, Dana 70 Rear. Can assist With loading with 24 hours heads up. Mechanical:
Truck is very Mechanically solid, would not hesitate to drive anywhere. AC, Cruise, power windows and Mirrors all still work.Truck is still very original. The only modifications are a Pin/spring, Autometer Boost/Pyro, and 1 ton shoes, Bus Brake Booster and master cylinder. The brake upgrades make the truck stop very well and have excellent pedal feel. Has the towing package, with the factory under bed trans cooler and an additional 7 pin plug in bed, From when the original owner had a 5th wheel hitch. The only known mechanical issues are some minor oil leaks (appears to weeping from the valve covers) and the Sony Radio wont change stations (Believe the issue is with the faceplate as it'll work if you wiggle it). Additionally, truck was converted to pull shut off(all originalparts are still in place if you want to switch back). To Fix the common fail of the FSS in the 1st gen trucks.
Interior:
I'd say the interior is average for an unrestored truck from the 90's. There is the typical cracking on the interior molding, a very small tear in the drivers corner of the seat, the headliner sags, drivers door handle is detached from the door panel and the rear jump seats were removed but included in the sale. Someone along the line slipped a piece of paper into the passenger vent window to stop it from whistling (definitely worked, doesn't whistle)
Exterior:
Truck is very solid, no rust( Never seen a winter). Has all the original molding, trim, and hubcaps, it left the factory with. Some of the molding is starting to delaminate especiallyby the fuel door.Paintjob is poor, really doesn't appear to have clear coat. Was a repaint (Done by originalowner, No Bondo), truck was originally red. I never felt the need to get it repainted, I always liked the way it looked. Truck also has the typical scrapes and bruises you'd expect from an unrestored truck from the 90's. The windshield has a small chip and can defiantlyuse a good cleaning. the tint on the rear glass is in poor condition, the slider does open and close. The tailgate is red(the originalcolor of the truck) and an extra 5th wheel tailgate comes with the truck. Finally, truck does have the typical crack in the grille.
