Description:

1969 Dodge Power Wagon

1969 Dodge W300 Power Wagon with original 14,800 miles. This was originally the Pembroke Ma. Brush Fire Rescue Vehicle. I included a picture of it in its early years. This is a 1 ton 10,000 GVW truck. Has Dana 70 axles front and rear, 383 cu/in V8 big block engine, 4 speed manual transmission, with divorced transfer case, 4x4, has power steering which is rare for this model, and power brakes, truck is all original, ordered with upgraded 383 big block engine, and front axle dana 70. Has PTO driven Ramsey Winch. Truck runs and drives awesome, I use it locally around town. I have gone through this entire truck manually, axles, brakes, MSD electronic ignition, main 12v kill switch, electric fuel pump, auto sensing cooling fan, brand new Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor. Installed high torque USA made starter, single wire 12v alternator much more dependable, no need for external voltage regulator. Has Cooper mud & snow radial tires 16” new. The bed is built like a tank, I was considering swapping it out with an original Dodge bed but decided not to. It is all diamond plate steel and really built well, and I like having the bed space with no wheel wells, it is a 9’ bed. The body is all original, not in museum quality condition but very little rust. The flat front inner fenders are really solid, usually the first thing to go on these trucks. Has some rust on driver side rocker panel, I do have a new replacement rocker just haven’t gotten around to replace it, and will include it with sale. The paint is all original, has a few dings and missing patches of paint but overall it is in really nice shape, good solid drivable truck. Has granny gear for 1st gear, high and low 4 wheel drive or can be set for 2 wheel drive. I do have a title for it, and it is registered and I drive it frequently. Does have a trailer hitch receiver, all lights, wipers, heater all work, glass is in great shape, also should mention the truck has no oil leaks, all the axle, transmission, transfer case oil has been replaced. I wouldn’t hesitate in driving this truck anywhere. The maximum speed is around 55 mph with a good tail wind, these old trucks were geared low for power not speed. Please don’t bid it you do not plan on following through with sale, it only wastes everyones time. Must be picked up at my location in Belmont, New Hampshire 03220. If truck is paid in advance I do not mind storing it until you can retrieve it. Also can help with loading if you decide to have transport truck pick it up. I have described it the best I can, and added a lot of photos, I have perfect feedback based on my honestly on selling items, Good Luck!
