Description:

1983 Dodge Ramcharger

This is a 1983 Dodge Ram Charger with approx. 92K original miles. It is rust free and cosmetically all original.I have receipts for over 15K in modifications that have been done over the past 20K or so miles and a Jasper engine was installed by previous owner at 69K miles.

I have receipts for almost everything done to the vehicle including engine paperwork

It is a great around town vehicle and with the 4:11 gears, it will cruise comfortably on the highway at 65 mph (w/ 33" tires)

UPGRADES include:

- 4:11 gears with Eaton True-Trac lockers

- Sky Jacker lift, the Air conditioning has been redone.

- Jasper Engine

- Howell EFI

- Electric fans, new radiator

- and much more

Exterior:

The paint is original and I would consider it "tired". It has some areas of thin paint with some surface rust (hood particularly) but definitely looks presentable. It could use a good buffing and detailing for sure. There are little nicks and scratches here and there. The chrome is nice, the bumpers are very nice. Windshield has no cracks, all windows roll up and down well. FYI it is two tone Dark blue and light blue, although the pictures it almost looks black.

Interior

The interior is original and in very nice shape. The seats are very cool, in very nice shape, foam is firm, and covers are original. They are in need a deep cleaning but have held up well. It needs new carpet for sure as there is a section below drivers feet which is missing. All interior lights and dash lights work. AC and heat works. I used it a little during the summer and with the Texas heat I would say that the a/c is "cool" more than cold.

Underneath:

All observed leaks were repaired by a mechanic, when I got it, the transmission had a pretty significant fix which was repaired at a transmission shop here (it was some seal that sits on top of the transmission). No rust other than surface. Depending on how crazy you want to go, it could use some painting, but what is under there is from the factory.

What it needs:

- Tires (very worn and fairly old), I would recommend changing tires before endeavoring any far distances.

- Carpet and door seals

- The back hatch shocks are starting to fail and probably need replaced soon, I will fix this if I can get around to it.

- A good cleaning/buffing by a professional detailer to really bring back the paint

Clear Texas title in my name

I am by no means a mechanic. Anything other than basic maintenance was addressed by a mechanic.
