Presented for sale by it's original owner is this 1979 Dodge Magnum XE. Ordered by option back in 1979, this numbers matching car has been meticulously cared for over the span of 44 years. This car and its owner have been regulars to the many Cruise Ins and car shows in their area for years. With no past accidents, all body panels and bumpers are factory original parts. Rustproofed with Ziebart rustproofing back when new, then recoated under Ziebart warranty a few years later. This Magnum was ordered from the factory with the GT trim wheel fairings seen in the photos. The wheels are 15" steel wheels with the factory original aluminum wheel covers and beauty rings. The car was ordered with the T-top as an option which was installed before the owner took possession of the vehicle. T-top glass is in great shape and the seals have been replaced and are watertight. The factory 318 V8 has had its intake manifold and "lean burn" fueling system replaced with an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and 4 barrel carburetor. The original parts have been retained and will go with the vehicle upon sale. This Magnum has the factory 3 speed automatic torque flight transmission with its original Suregrip rear differential. It has front disc and rear drum brakes. Car has been lowered 2" via lowering blocks and front torsion bar adjustment. The interior has been modified with a tilt steering wheel column (original parts retained and will go with car). A series of LED light replacements including dash backlights, courtesy lamps, brake lamps, turn signals, and running lights have been made. All wiring is tucked out of sight and electrical diagrams of all work completed will go with vehicle. Has a Pioneer stereo system with CD player, AUX input, AM/FM radio, and Bluetooth powering Kicker speakers in front doors (6") and the rear deck (6"x9").
