1977 Dodge Ramcharger

1977 DODGE RAMCHARGER 4X4, SPECIAL EDITION, BIG BLOCK with WORKING AIR CONDITIONING
I purchased this truck from the original owner in 2018 and have done a lot of work to it in the last 5
years. I have some of the original paper work and copy of the previous title. The original owner
purchased it from Skyline Dodge in Denver Colorado and it was in Colorado Springs until I bought it and
took it to Littleton Colorado.
EXTREMELY NICE and CLEAN driver quality, cruise night show truck that you can put to work or take off
road / 4x4 trails without too much guilt. 118,000 miles
EVERYTHING works NO EXCEPTOINS! Including original gauges, all dash, glove box, climate control,
wiper speed, dome, and exterior lights as well. New Bosh 2-5/8” tachometer installed in the dash.
Unmolested original wiring.
The air conditioning has been converted to R134A and blows cold.
The truck starts right up (electric choke works) runs very strong, shifts, and stops as it should. Steering is
tight, and the running gear is quiet. No smoke, noises or leaks from the motor. The transmission has a
very small leak (couple drops a day) No other leaks. 4X4 shifts and works flawlessly!
EXTREMELY CLEAN AMAZING S.E. INTERIOR! Perfect woodgrain dash no cracks or wear. Professionally
refinished door panels, kick panels and console. The original front and rear seats have been
reupholstered to match using quality vinyl with original styling. Original am/fm radio with new dash
speaker and antenna.
The original 318 engine was replaced by previous owner with a Mopar 383 date coded 5/12/1969. H.P.
is stamped on the identification block next to the distributor hole. Transmission is an automatic 727.
Front and rear differentials are original with 3.55 gear ratio.
Recent professional base coat, clear coat paint and body refinish. (not perfect, some minor waves and
imperfections). Original color Chrysler paint code PY8753 Medium Blue Metallic. The little rust that was
present was cut out and metal patch panels were completely welded in place. (I have pictures of all
body work along the way) The SMALL areas patched are in the right rear fender, floorboards, and left
lower quarter. NOTHING major. Surface rust was wire brushed and treated with Eastwood rust
encapsulator. New body hardware gaskets, door seals / weatherstrips and outer window felts were
used. Both doors open and close easily with no sag, and it doesn't look like the top has ever been removed. NO frame rust and the body mounts are solid. No body damage was found during refinish, and I
believe the truck has never been in an accident. The small areas of rust on the top were ground down
and fiber glassed then the whole top was refinished with Durabak Polyurethane textured coating.
Nice aluminum grille 9/10 condition.
Dual exhaust
All the original lock cylinders work with keys including rear hatch doors and glove box
