I never thought I'd be selling my super-reliable 1992 First Gen Cummins Dodge after owning it 18 years but here we are. I've absolutely loved this truck, and the new owner is going to be as happy with truck as I am sad to see it go. Ask my wife.
THIS TRUCK'S STORY
I bought this truck from the second owner 18 years ago. It's served me incredibly well and reliably, and now I'm selling it because my wife bought a newer truck and we can't use two pickups.
Has the 12-valve, 5.9 L first Gen Cummins "Million Mile" engine (which means no DEF or computer!) Engine runs perfect, strong and had never needed work. Doesn't burn oil or smoke and will keep going, and going, and going.... Regular oil changes, fluids monitored, etc (see DETAILS below).
Easily tows our 20’ Sundowner trailer with five horses and mules in it.
Truck was bought by first owner in Kansas, used lightly, and sold to the second owner, who lived in Arizona. I bought it from the second owner in 2005 and have enjoyed it ever since. This is a southern truck which means no salt damage and the metal in the quarter panels, rocker panels and wheel wells is 100% solid.
Truck is pretty much like it came from the factory aside from the usual wear marks you’d find on a carefully used truck of this vintage.
I have towed horses and mules across the US and into Canada multiple times with this truck and would trust it to take me and my animals anywhere right now.
