1968 dodge dart 270 74,000 original miles. Great surviver car.

1968 Dodge Dart

Selling this Dart due to a change in plans. I bought the car from the original family that bought the car new. It was spent its life in Tennessee.
The car had the original 273 but was replaced due to freezing block when the car was brought to Michigan, nobody bothered to check the antifreeze. It now has a rebuilt 318 with a 2 barrel carb, the points ignition has been updated to the Mopar electronic conversion. Car starts and runs great, I would feel confident driving it anywhere. The car has rust at the back of both wheel wells and that is it. Door sills, trunk, and torsion frame are all in great shape. Carpet is good but the seats need to be recovered. AC compressor has been removed but the under dash ac unit is still there. Heater core has been blocked off due to leaking. Original radio is still in the dash. Paint is good, has a nice shine, few spots were it has been rubbed threw due to polishing. Great Original patina. Chrome and bright work are all in great condition. No rust on the engine fender walls. Dash and dash pad are in perfect shape.
The 270 option package was the highest luxury package available for the Dodge Dart, she even has 3 point shoulder straps, pretty rare for 1968.
Its a great car that needs a little love to be awesome.
