1963 Dodge B-Body 330 Station Wagon
Price: US $14,000.00
Description:
1963 Dodge 330
- I am 72 years old and have owned the car for the last 10 years. I have enjoyed taking it to many car shows and the occasional monthly joyride. It was never used as a daily driver during the time I owned it.
- I'm selling because I'm moving on to another chapter in my life and would like to see someone continue the restoration and preservation of this classic.
- Car drives well - no pulling or shakes, no brake issues
- 1963 Dodge 330 Station Wagon B-Body, no third seat
- Car originally from Idaho for 50 years - I have the original owner's name and address
- Car was in Arkansas for two years with the rest of the years in Illinois, always stored in a garage.
- Original 225 Slant 6 replaced with a 225 6-cylinder from a four-door model with only 30,000 miles on it at the time.
- Heads on the current engine redone with hardened valves to run unleaded gasoline.
- New motor mounts installed
- Very quiet and smooth motor
- New starter, battery cables, plug wires, caps, points
- 3-speed stick on the column
- Some wheel bearings replaced and the others repacked
- New rear leaf springs with one more extra leaf than original equipment on both sides
- All new brakes and brake lines
- Gas tank has been flushed and new gas lines installed
- Rear wheels are 15 x 7 and were sandblasted and power coated
- Front wheels are 15 x 6
- Original lug nuts both left and right hand thread
- Tires are in good condition with no cracks
- Heavy-duty trailer hitch installed and was used to with a U-Haul trailer with no issues
- Front bench seat was reupholstered
- Original floors and rear tire well all sanded and epoxied
- Car was repainted once before I bought it and now has a nice patina and two-tone paint
- Extra parts I will be including with the sale of the car are a turquoise padded dash in good condition with one very small crack that matches the seat color and heat and defroster switches from a donor car.
- All door panels were replaced from a donor car. I vacuumed all debris from inside all doors including the tailgate.
- A backpack air blower was used to blow out the debris from the non-rusted cowl section under the front windshield. There is absolutely no rust in the cowl section or by the hinges of the front doors
- The negatives:
- Heater core was leaking and I have ran the hoses back into the motor block. This means there is no heat. See picture of motor.
- Car shifts okay, but in warm weather there is some grinding when shifting into first or reverse gear. No issues once the car is in first, second, third, or reverse gear.
- The passenger doors' window glass has not been lowered since I got the car as it feels stiff and it was not a priority for me to attempt to lower the glass. All other glass windows operate normally including the rear tailgate manually-operated window.
- Willing to ship domestically or internationally, but buyer must pay all applicable shipping charges. I will be present to assist when it leaves my house where it is currently stored in a garage.
- Feel free to message me with any questions!
