Vehicle Details

1971 Dodge Tradesman B200

Completely original body with rebuilt drivetrain. First year for this body style, has some parts off of the early vans still and the pentastar in the fender. Factory undercoated, unmolested body other that the cb antenna mounts which were there when I got it. Solid A pillars, drip rails, door jambs, shock towers etc. Has one spot above original tail pipe (typical) that would need a patch if you care.

The interior is as I found it aside from the seats/swivels, steering wheel, CB radio, dash pad and mattress in the rear. The shag is really clean and reusable and there's a lot of it.

318, .030 over, hot cam, Edelbrock performer intake and carb, headman headers and magnaflow 5" mufflers.

Rebuilt 727, 3 core radiator, new brakes (all of it) Bilstein shocks, 8.25 rear with Moser Street axels, carrier, locker, new 3.21 gears and I have 3.73 gears too. Replaced all the left hand wheel studs on driver side.

People seem to appreciate this van the way it is and I've done my best to preserve it while putting lots of miles on it too. I intended to do the body, paint and rebuild the interior using the provided shag (you can't get anywhere) but I think I want to go a different route.

I've taken this on many road trips and it has never let me down. It even went to Minnesota a couple years ago and never skipped a beat. It runs great on the highway and around the city too. If I lived somewhere more warm and flat I would not hesitate to daily drive this.
