1987 Dodge W150 4x4 4 Speed 5.7L Gen 3 Hemi Swap with Holley Terminator X EFI

This 1987 Dodge was a Holley Terminator X EFI & Gen 3 Hemi Swap development vehicle. This truck was purchased by Holley Performance with under 30,000 miles and was given an overhaul. First up was replacing the old V8 with a new 5.7L Hemi Gen 3 out of a late model Dodge truck. After all the testing at Holley this engine only has around 10,000 miles. During the engine swap many new parts were added. Some of these include engine mounts, radiator, clutch fan, fuel tank, fuel pump, power steering pump, alternator and others. This swap was done with a clean factory look in mind, so the factory airbox and air filters were retained. The original 4 speed transmission was kept for a classic appeal but a new Luk clutch, flywheel, and throw-out bearing were added to freshen everything. Holley Terminator X EFI is used as a standalone system to run the Gen 3 Hemi and it’s MDS/SRV DOD. The Holley Terminator X EFI also has a handheld wired into the truck to view engine parameters as well as tuning. The truck was already lifted with a Skyjacker lift when Holley purchased it, but new shocks were added. Brand new wheels and tires with less than 1,000 miles on them. New stainless long tube headers and true dual exhaust were professionally welded specifically for this truck. The interior remains stock and in excellent shape for a truck it’s age. The trucks factory 4x4 still works as intended. While the truck has hot heat, unfortunately the AC is currently in non-functioning condition. The front end could use rebuilding due to age and being lifted. The only issues with the truck other than the AC and front end are minor cosmetic issues; such as some paint fading on the roof/hood, some rust above the drivers front fender, rust above the windshield, and typical dents/dings of an older truck. Overall this is a really nice example of an older truck with the drivability/power of a new one.
