Description:

1984 Dodge Ram 1500 D150

1984 Dodge Ram D150 pickup. 318 V8 engine, auto 727 transmission, delay wipers, A/C, bed light.

No rust in rockers, cab corners, doors nor the bedsides - EXCELLENT for the year. Surface rust only on floor, hood, roof and bed. Overall the paint is dull, but would polish out with terrific results. Chrome bumpers, towing mirrors and stainless trim are excellent, the missing rubber trim from the driver's side is stashed in the cab, behind the seat. Original glass all around, windshield is beginning to delaminate. Driver tail light is cracked. Passenger fender and hood are dented from a past animal strike; core support and griile have been replaced using parts from a similar year truck. Driver's fender has a slight dent. Carpet has been removed from the footwells. Original seat is torn on the driver's side.

318 V8 runs very quietly and smoothly, transmission shifts smoothly and to spec. 318 does burn oil, and oil pressure is good but not great. No reason to think this engine wouldn't serve the next owner well for coffee meets and shows, but long-term the engine could stand to be refreshed.

Original wheels and hubcaps are on the truck. Whitewall tires have good tread left.

Steering column is a tilt-wheel from another Mopar, possibly a car; the Mopar wheel is leather-wrapped. The column's original application had a gear indicator at the top of the column itself, but this truck is supposed to have the indicator in the dash; thus, the dash gear indicator is disconnected.

A/C equipment is all there but the system does not cool. Excellent heat, blower works, though only through the dash vents - no defrost or floor flow modes at present.

'90s Chrysler stereo is in the dash but not working. Dash bezel was broken to make fit.

New drum brakes in the rear, new valve cover gaskets and new gear reduction starter as well.

This truck is farm-fresh and honestly presented. Please don't hesitate to ask questions.
