Power Steering. Blue on Blue. Base model! No radio, a/c, power windows not even a cigar lighter. Very clean, low mile adult owned Dodge Power Ram 50 4x4. I spent 6 months looking on the west coast for the cleanest Ram 50 4wd to buy, and this was the one I found in 2021. And nothing cleaner has been on the market since. History of the pickup is that it spent most it’s life in Oregon, owned by an artist up until her passing away. Used it for hauling pottery, apparently. Previous owner was retired guy who bought as a COVID side project. He did the spray-on bedliner treatment, changed master cylinder, front calipers, front brake hoses, wheel cylinders and had the BFG installed. Retired guy decided to sell as he needed something to tow with, and I was lucky to be first caller on it. Paint shines up very nice. No significant body damage – typical dings & scratches found on a pickup from 1987. Also typical from 1987 is the heavy oxidation on roof and hood – a real shame as the rest of the paint is gorgeous. No signs of structural rust. Interior is perfect except for a ~2-inch rip on the side of driver seat. Pics in listing are showing the worst damage. New Upper & Lower Radiator Hoses (Gates & Continental).New Fan & Power Steering Belts (Napa, Gates).New radiator drain petcock, Radiator Cap (Gates) and 50/50 mix Coolant.New Air filter, crankcase filter, Fuel filter, Air Cleaner baseplate gasket (all Purolator).New Spark Plugs (Bosch 4307), Plug Wires (Prestolite) and Cap & Rotor; new Ignition Coil.New PCV Valve.New (professionally installed) stock type muffler and tailpipe.New Oxygen Sensor (NGK).Added aftermarket coolant temperature gauge.Recent Oil & Filter change (Bosch high capacity Euro filter with 5W30 Castrol).Replaced front and rear axle lube (75W90 Valvoline), Transmission fluid (75W80 Motul GL4) and Transfer Case lube (50W Chevron Delo MTF).Brakes, Suspension, Chassis:New front Brake Rotors (Bendix), Brake Pads (Raybestos Ceramic Quiet Stop PGD349QS), caliper hardware kit (Napa/Euclid), Caliper Slide Pins (Napa/Euclid), rubber brake hoses, front Calipers are remanufactured replacements.New front hub bearing sets (Timken), new hub seals (CR), repacked front bearings/free wheel hubs (Lucas red).New rear Brake Shoes (Wagner Z524), Brake Drums (Centric), Wheel Cylinders (correct 4x4 size from Raybestoes/Napa) and hardware kit. Note PO installed Centric wheel cylinders in 2021 which I replaced with proper made in Japan parts in 2022.New Master Cylinder (correct 4X4 part, Raybestoes).Brake system flushed with DOT4.New Monroe Shocks on all 4 corners.New Phillips LED bulbs for brake lights, rear turn signals and front marker lights; new Truck-Lite LED Flasher (made in Canada!)Painted wheels and installed early gen Ram D50 poverty hub capsVintage ‘Dodge” tailgate decal. Although this truck ran perfect without issues, my son and I proceeded to do a ton of preventative maintenance for the fun and (his) experience. Below is a list of the work completed. None of this work was even necessary except the front and rear brake lining changes and the front rotor replacement (they were originals). I’ve been building cars and engines for 38 years and work professionally in the technical side of the vehicle R&D/manufacturing industry. We will scan all the parts receipts available and post later. Since doing the bulk of the following work, have put about 500 miles on it.
