1949 Dodge Other Pickups

This is a Dodge B1B Pilothouse (five window) pickup. The previous owner installed a 1969 Ford Mustang drive train. It's a 302 V8 (not Boss), C4 three speed transmission and the matching rear end (not sure the gear ratio). It has a 20 foot paint job by the previous owner. I've put a lot of money in it and have had the following repaired/worked on: engine, exhaust, new windows and seals and front suspension. The front suspension was replaced with a Jeep Wagoneer straight axle (not 4WD). The rear brakes are drum and have been repaired/replaced and working great. The front brakes were replaced to disc. The wheels were replaced with baby moons and new tires. The suspension was slightly lowered but not racking the ground giving it that GRRRR stance without getting stuck over the speed bumps. I'm reluctantly selling to help my mom going into an assisted living home so no low-balling guys!! I love this truck and sad to see it go but life changes our plans. The truck is still at my mechanic's garage finishing up the front suspension and power steering assembly but the work is already paid for and located in Kilgore, Tx. This will be a local pickup only!!!! Any transportation of the truck will be on your dime and coordination.
