1968 Dodge Coronet SUPER BEE 440 Automatic.
I'm selling my 1968 Dodge Coronet, I have cloned this to be a super bee.I purchased this about 15 years ago and restored it over an 8-year time frame. It has been completed for about 3 years. My family and I have enjoyed it but it's time to take on another hobby.
Below is a list of many things that I've done, however this is not exhaustive.
Fuel lines, Window tinting, Windshield, everything that was Chrome has been powder coated black.Exhaust, gas tank, disc brakes, Headers,All the machining work was done at precision automotive in Ontario OR.Street demon carb 750cfmDetroit True track locker 3.23 gear ratio.Summit high Rev. 440 and Cam kitCarpet, upholstery, headliner...Hughes big block 1.5 pushrod and rocker arm kit.Automatic torque flight 727 transmission has been rebuilt.New Axle bearings.New Fan clutch, alternator, starter. The power steering pump, heater core and AC condenser was rebuilt.I do have the AC unit that mounts on top of the motor however it's not been installed. I also have the original cruise control unit that goes with the car that has not been installed either.Mileage 3,340 This was reset when the engine was rebuilt. It had 67,000 but had rolled over.
The car is a head turner and it's fun to drive. It sounds phenomenal and it's not too loud but unmistakably a built muscle car. I've only ever ran super in it but everything I've read says you can use regular 87.The speedometer does not work, about 6 months ago it stuck. The car is reliable however, it is a classic so there are always little things to tinker with. I have enjoyed it and will definitely miss it.
