One really rare SHORTBED D100 that dont come up for sale
much anymore esp one this solid and rot free coming out of Tucson.
This truck runs and drives. It is a factory V8 AC ordered vehicle.
I drove it across town the other day and it does fine for an older truck. Brakes work
fine and it shifts well. Last owner was using it as a daily driver and I
dont see any reason it couldnt be one as is. Good tires, starts all the time
and runs well for its age. Not saying it doesnt need some repairs but
mechanically it seems to run and drive fine. AC needs work and the
interior could use some repairs too. Outside paint is blah, but okay for
a driver or work truck.
OR would be a fun project builder. Fix the mechanics &
interior and leave the outside blah, or go the whole way with a nice
paint job and restoration of sorts.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This Az car is very solid in most areas, of course it has surface
rust but for a 40+ unrestored truck, its really solid. Check out all
our pics, over 100 and our video link. Factory Shortbed V8 AZ
truck with AC PS and PDB are a great truck to start with.
Original color was like a charcoal grey. Current paint is blah.
Good from far......far from good. Good for a work truck.

DRIVETRAIN: under the hood is the factory V8 318 with
an auto trans. Its been a daily driver off and on for the last
few yrs. Runs and drives nice for an older truck. No weird noises
from the engine or smoke. Trans feels good too. Has factory
front PDB and AC. Ac looks to be all there, but just not working
at the moment. Not sure what it needs. But pretty clean under
the hood for an old AZ truck.
INTERIOR: take a look at pics its fairly complete, but
dry and showing its age. The carpet and front bench seat
was just redone. Dash looks to be in good shape too.
Door panels dont match, but for the most part it would be
a good start for some a restoration. As is you can drive it
with some comfort and style. Alot of the rubber and or plastics
are aged from the AZ heat of course. Floors are in great shape.
So are the rockers and cab corners. Id replace that old slider
back window for sure. I have ignition keys only, no door keys.
NEEDS some RESTO INSIDE but dont let that scare you.

EXTERIOR:you are looking at what is a pretty bad
flat white paint job. Original color was a charcoal graphite
which was probably nice looking back in the day. The
current non gloss white is usable, but for a daily it would
be fine and daily or work truck. Didnt see very much in
the way of dents or damage. One of the fenders as mentioned
in the video looks to have been replaced at one time.
All the glass looks good and doors work. I cant get the tailgate
to go down, so may have to address that when you get it.
Some trim missing, keep in mind this is not a restored truck.
But its a pretty clean easy build survivor ROT FREE AZ
Dodge Shortbed. Chrome is in nice shape.
I lifted up the Bedliner, and the bed floor is in REALLY NICE
SHAPE...NO RUST OR ROT and very clean. SEE PICS

was all good and windows currently work.
Chrome bumpers are in decent usable shape.
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks pretty much like the way
it came from the factory and complete. Very little looks to
be missing. With a nice set of wheels on it and good tires it
would be a 100% improvement on the looks as well as cruising
around town safely. Rides nice going down the road and handles
well too for its age. TheShocks feel good on this rig too.
Seems solid at least and no clunks etc when driving it around.
