I built this truck myself using the frame anddrivetrain from a salvaged 2011 Nissan Armada (it was a light roll over).I then fit to it the cab from the 1948 Dodge truck and the truck bed from, Ibelieve, a 1977 - 1979 Dodge Warlock. I reallyenjoyed building this truck and cruising it, but I just have too much stuff,and now a new project, so it's time to move on. Feel free to askquestions but here's just about everything you would want to know:

- 5.6 liter Nissan engine, 317 horsepower(though probably a bit better as I have remove the CATs and mufflers and it wasprofessionally tuned. This one runs really well. These engines and transmissions are very hearty, often going well past 250,000 miles.

- Salvage title, the vehicle is a "specialconstruction" and is titled as such

- I have never had any issues with gaininginsurance (currently with Hagerty)

- Vehicle is exempt in California from emissionstesting for life (see white decal as shown in photos)

- 5 speed Nissan automatic transmission. The first two gears in these Armada transmissions are very short, so it accelerates really hard, while the overdrive 5 speed enables it to cruise on the highway at decent engine RPM.

- Regarding the a/c - I fit the front evaporatorfrom the Armada to the inside of the cab (you can see it mounted under the rightside of the dash). The stock Nissan compressor is used and it cools thecab pretty well.

- The tires have great tread, though they areseveral years old at this point. They seem to be wearing evenly, though Ihave not put 10s of thousands of miles on this truck

- I very recently installed front brake pads andthe rears are good

- The truck has two air pumps for the airbagsystem - proper relays and wiring were utilized throughout the build.

- The airbag system has a 5 gallon tank,3/8" lines are used

- The rear section of the truck bed floor ishinged and pinned such that it can either lay flat or sit down. My ideawas that one could load dirt bikes without a ramp, with the tailgate and therear section of the floor down. I don't think I'd be loading a couple ofHarley's, but light bikes will be fine, if that's your passion

- I recently put a new MAF sensor on it

- The hoses are in good shape and I recentlyinstalled a new serpentine belt

- I custom built the center section of the hoodbecause the Armada was so much wider than the '48

- I solved the challenge of the tilt front endby simply making it wider (rather than building in the complication of asliding front end or cutting the fenders (like on a tractor trailer). Inmy twisted mind it looks a bit like the front fenders and door of a Dodge Viper

- As you can see in the photos the sides of thetruck bed tilt up for easy access to service the air pumps/lines, fuel tank(and to fill the fuel tank - the Charger style fill cap is not functional)

- Inside the truck, only the original Armadagauges work, and the AFR gauge, which I had intended to be temporary during thetune, but I'll include it at this point.

- The front grill is composed of cool scrapmaterial I had laying around

- While cool looking, the halo headlights do not project well - muchbetter bulbs would be necessary if you are going to routinely drive this truckat night and at high speed

- As necessary on my end, I will work with ashipper whom you employ and manage

- Payment by certified check, cash, Venmo or wiretransfer will be required before taking possession of the vehicle. I will hold you to the ebay deposit, so don't even ask.

Thisreminded me of a few items:

Whilenot so loud outside the truck, it is pretty loud inside the cab, at least formy old ears - you might consider the installation of some mufflers at somepoint.

Dueto the 30 aspect tires (in place of the stock 70 series), the speedometer readshigh.

The74 year old window regulators are a bit cantankerous, I've never done anythingwith them, they probably need cleaned/lubed - otherwise it often takes one handto crank while guiding up/down with the other hand.

Whenthe air bag pressure is set just right, this truck rides more comfortably thanmy stock F150 pick up.

ThoughI've replaced the ignition switch (electrics), on occasion, the connector seemsto come lose (or one of the pins in the wire connector is loose?) It alwaysstarts, but seems to like a "wiggle" from time to time. BTW,the tune removed the need for a chip in the key, so there's that.

It'snot shown in the provided photo, I did put a new battery in the truck thispast September.
