Up for auction is my super clean 1st Gen 87 Dodge Ram W150 4x4 Pickup Truck. This is a really clean & super solid truck that has spent its entire life in the south. The truck has the original bulletproof 318 V8 gas engine with 3 speed automatic transmission, both perform excellent with no issues that I am aware of. No major leaks or issues at all, everything seems to work as it should, including A/C. A/C is cold, but may need a top off of freon to freeze you out. This truck runs out and drives really well, probably the best driving 1st Gen Ram that I have owned! 4x4 and lock out hubs work as they should. This truck has never been worked, it has had an easy life! I have taken it on a few long road trips and have had zero issues. This truck is ready to go!
Several new parts and repairs in the past year including starter, starter relay, battery & cables, upgraded ignition, thermostat, billet water neck, idler arm, pitman arm, Borgeson steering shaft, brakes, wheels & tires, rubber door seals, valve cover gaskets, and more! This truck needs nothing as far as I know, jump in and go!
The interior of this truck is clean and in really good shape. The dash is in great shape with zero cracks or damage! Seat, headliner and carpet are also in really nice condition, brand new Lloyds floor mats that are awesome!
The body and frame of the truck are virtually rust free as you can see in pics and video. This truck is 99% rust free as best I can tell, with no witness of previous body work or rust repair. There is a tad bit of surface rust beginning on the bottom inside of driver’s door as I show in the video, it is not bad at all, however it is there. It is not noticeable at all from exterior, you have to be looking to see it, I keep it oiled to keep it from getting worse. The truck was painted approximately 10 years ago, it is a driver quality paint job. My plan was to take it to get a cut & buff to take out some of the imperfections, which I think would really make it pop! The truck is straight and not all beat up. This truck always gets a ton of attention every time I take it out, thumbs up and “nice truck” constantly!
