My 1978 Dodge D100 short box is for sale. 2wd. Power Steering. Power disk brakes. Slant Six, 4-speed. 111k.

I've had this truck for a year; it's been our shop truck for parts runs. Since I have had it, I've installed a brand-new windshield, wiper blades, and fuel filter. Otherwise I haven't done a damn thing to it. It starts every single time and gets the job done. The transmission synchros or lack thereof make it a little grumpy going into certain gears at certain times, and gears do grind between shifts until you get the hang of it. Otherwise the truck steers/stops/drives great, about as great as a '78 Dodge pickup can.

A previous owner lowered the truck using van LCAs and new springs. It's a little low for my tastes, and bottoms out occasionally which is to be expected. He also fitted brand new wheels and tires which are in excellent condition.

This truck is from Wyoming originally and has spent it's life on farms there and in Colorado exclusively. There are bumps and bruises but no accidents. There is surface rust, but NO rot in this truck. See every inch of the underside in the 140 pictures.

The truck has been painted once that I can see, and it is a home-job. I rather like the peeling and patina throughout.

Truck is not perfect. The passenger's side window regulator will go down but needs help to go up. The turn signal stalk flops around, needs help to center. Parking brake was wired up when I received the truck and I have not touched it. It's 42 years old... to drive the truck daily you will want to fix a few things for sure.
