1970 Dodge Charger
PLEASE BE SURE TO WATCH VIDEO BELOW. For sale is my 1970 Charger. This Charger was originally a 383 big block car with A/C. The car has been transformed into a black Charger R/T hardtop with a built 440. ENGINE: The engine is a built 440 with forged internals. Not exactly sure as to which parts were used, but the previous owner specified that it had forged pistons with a street cam. It has a Edelbrock Torker aluminum intake manifold with an Edelbrock carburetor. I had some original exhaust manifolds installed on the car, they do leak a little at the collectors but the exhaust system is new and it doesnt even have 100 miles on it. It sounds like the bolts need to be retightened. It has 3 inch Flowmasters going all the way to the back of the car. The car still sounds amazing. The engine may have a tiny drip every once in a while, but nothing unexpected from a car this old. There are absolutely no major leaks from the motor. It may need some tuning, maybe a slight timing adjustment with the distributor but other than that the car runs great! TRANSMISSION: The trans is a rebuilt 727 with less than 500 miles on it. The original Column shifter was removed from the car and a B&M slapstick was installed. The car shifts great. The trans also has some small leaks, but nothing major that i've noticed. The transpan may have some bolts that need to be tightened down a little bit. All of the gaskets are new. BODY: The body on this car is beautiful. No rust around any of the fenders or quarter panels. Both quarter panels were replaced with AMD panels. I believe the other panels are all original to the car, the door still has the factory VIN sticker on it. The paint job is a few years old, but from 5 feet away its beautiful. Still shines like new when its clean. There are a few very tiny spots where there are some imperfections, maybe some small chips or imperfections under the paint, but again this isn't a $15, 00 paint job although it's still very presentable. I would give it an 8/10. The only spots I can see where the paint is bubbling a little is one spot on the edge of the hood, about 2 inches in length. It's definitely not a hole or anything, just looks like the surface had some contaminants on it and it wasn't cleaned enough. The other spot I noticed is on the panel where the windshield wipers are, there is a bubble about the size of a quarter. Other than that the body is very solid from what I can tell, a magnet will stick to every panel on this car. The body lines are straight and sharp. The bumpers were both painted black and have had some touch ups done to them from highway driving. They shine just as nice as the rest of the car. There is no antennae on the car, but I will include the original with it. The car has American torque thrust wheels. The 2 back wheels were custom welded so that the backspacing fit on the car. They look very awesome and really make the car resemble the original charger from The Fast and the Furious franchise. INTERIOR: The interior is beautiful. New headliner, new door panels, all the trim was restored. The dashpad has a hairline crack in it, but its still really nice for a driver car. The gauge cluster was taken out of the car, cleaned and repainted. All of the electrical was gone through, nd some of it was even updated. The fuse panel was removed and upgraded with a modern one, this is a very nice feature when you need to change a fuse. The gauges light up with red LED lights and it looks AWESOME at night. Very very menacing. The car also has red underglow underneath the entire dash so it lights the carpet up red at night. Another very appealing feature that draws a lot of compliments. The car does have power windows which work great! The fuel guage isnt working as well as the speedometer, but im guessing the speedometer cable has to be pulled off and hooked in better, i'll try and get it working before the auction ends. The drivers seat and backseat each have a tiny little tear in them, but they are still very presentable and I can imagine they can be repaired without having to re-cover them with new material. ELECTRICAL: This car has red halo headlights, LED turn signals with blinkers and sequential LED taillights. The reverse light is also custom LED and looks very cool with the taillights. I will be posting a video of all of the features in the next day or two. Hundreds of hours went into installing these features on the car. They are extremely unique and draw a lot of attention at night. I'm aware that both front turn signals are missing in the pictures, I do have them but took them off the car to get the electrical fixed in the front. I will reinstall them and send pics if need be. I also have the parking light lens for the drivers side quarter, i just forgot to install it on the car before I had the photos taken. I will answer any questions about the car to my best knowledge, so please do not hesitate to ask. My name is Joe and my phone number is 248-212-2724Vehicle Details:
