* Black 1969 Dodge Charger R/T SE in very good to excellent original condition, 00% Numbers Matching throughout, ot just the original and unrebuilt 440 Magnum and H.D. 727 Transmission, ven things like the Exhaust System are still original, arburetor, oints Distributor, tc., tc.
* One "exterior only" repaint done in 1984 over all original and LASER straight sheet metal.(NO hits or accidents)
* Fender Tag and Broadcast Sheet(rear seat removed for the first time 2 years ago), ecode this Charger exactly the same today 46 years later as the day it rolled off the assembly line, naltered or changed in any way.
This is NOT some rotisserie restoration you are looking at, ut a stock original "reference" condition Black 1969 Charger R/T SE example that had the exterior only repainted with repair work(common to Charger's) performed at the same time back in 1984.NO redone door jambs, O redone underhood or anywhere else, ust the exterior re-sprayed X9 Black again. It was back in 1984 after all when repainted(the paint seen here) and done before anything serious had progressed further.The floorpans, ub-frames etc., tc. are rock solid as you would expect, ith just a wire brush and some POR15 recently applied to the original trunk floor for aesthetics.
This Charger R/T is VERY tight and quiet to drive as you would expect from a very well maintained original car, o surprises !, verything works as it should(except the clock & w/s pisser's), ith very pleasing performance from the UN-rebuilt and original numbers matching 440 Magnum that is still in fantastic condition.I mean it when I say it just runs beautifully, o tics, o noises, o oil smoke, o leaks, nd very tight.
The entire Car is 100% stock andUN-touchedwith original numbers matching components, ight down to the intact original Exhaust System(in good shape), ith just new mufflers in 46 years !... It still has it's original and correct #'s matching Points Ignition Distributor, arburetor, adiator, tc., tc. everything you would expect from a Charger that was very simply well maintained "as is".
What has been changed over 46 years ? is best, nd much easier discussed in a very short list ? so you the reader can understand more fully just "what" you are looking at, hen I use the term "reference" example.

If you want a "restored" Charger R/T ? Then GO BID ON ONE ! as they are a "dime a dozen" and quite easy to find here on Ebay.But remember,most were usually put on a Rotisserie and "restored" ? because they NEEDED to be ! Most were RUST BUCKETS with many panels replaced, ice chewed wiring rat traps, nd those will never be the same, ecause they are only "original" ONCE !
However,If you have been looking for a very good conditionUN-molested, N-rebuilt andoriginal Charger R/T "SE" or Special edition, n the Holy grail of factory colors being Black(X9), ith NO issues, hat runs perfectly and can be driven anytime, nywhere in confidence, ou already know how RARE and HARD they are to find !These just don't come alongvery oftenstill in this conditio, o now's your chance.
