This is a super rare real Numbers Matching 1957 Dodge Custom Royal D500 with the 325 Hemi. I know what your thinking, it's a 58 nose! And you would be correct, it's a 57 with a 58 nose, really the best of both worlds, it has the 57 Hemi which was not available in 58 and the better looking 58 nose. It is a big project but a worthwhile one to do. We have the IBM card from Chrysler that confirms it is a real D500 car and that the engine number matches what it on the IBM card.

We got the engine to turn over with the starter but couldn't quite make it run. The starter is pretty weak and that may be why. We have a bunch of extra new and NOS parts that come with the car as well. One of the previous owners worked at a Dodge dealer in the 80's and 90's and collected parts for it then.

While not a rust bucket it is going to need some rust repair. The frame rails are good but it has all the usual Forward Look Mopar rust on it including floors, rockers, and quarter panels. It still has the original D500 emblem on the trunk.
