1963 Dodge Polara

This 1963 Dodge Polara has a very cool style. And beneath the distinct sheetmetal is a performance-built 440 V8 and all the right goodies to make this a quarter-mile king.
This comes from the few years when you could really tell a Mopar apart from the crowd. They had extra style everywhere. The dark inner walls of the engine bay funnel your attention to the big heart in the middle. This is Mopar's mighty 440 cubic-inch V8. It has been built with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Weiand hi-rise intake, MSD ignition w/billet distributor, and an upgraded performance cam. Long tube headers add power while also contributing to the rumble of the Cherry Bomb dual exhaust. This is believed to be a professional speed shop setup, and you take full control over it all with the stout A727 Torqueflite three-speed that's built with a reverse manual valve body.
