Description:

1972 Dodge Charger

Very clean 1972 Dodge Charger that runs and drives. Clean title in hand. Featuring the much more desirable, aggressively shaped roof and window line, just like the 1971. This Charger is in fantastic original condition. The 318 engine starts right up, idles and runs well. Lots of factory options, two fender tags. Factory dual racing 'Bullet' mirrors. Electronic ignition. Rear defroster. Factory 'G' code 318 car. However, this one has a special treat with the factory 8 3/4" rear end, with the stronger 489 case. This is very rare for a 318 car. The 8 3/4" rear ends are very tough and reliable at higher horsepower levels. The car has factory front disc brakes that have been rebuilt, including a new master cylinder installed earlier this year. The car stops and handles very well.
This Charger is extremely clean and rust free. The entire frame, full floorboards, and complete trunk panel are all rust free and rock solid. There is some rust at the very bottom of each quarter in front and rear of the wheel well. The wheel wells are in excellent shape. The passenger door needs some attention, with a dent in the middle. The hood, fenders, driver door, valances, roof, and trunk lid are all in great shape. The bumpers are clean and straight. The grilles and taillights are in good shape. The glass is clean. All of the trim is in good shape as well. I have a full set of windshield trim for the car, although not pictured.
The interior is largely in good shape. Factory bucket seats. The rear seat and all door panels are in great shape. The lower dash is nice, the upper dash needs a new pad. I have a set of factory rallye gauges that are included with the car. The car needs new carpet and headliner, front seat upholstery, and a dash pad. With these things replaced, you would have a very presentable and comfortable driver interior.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to get into a clean, complete Charger that they can drive while restoring it. I would love to restore this car, as that was my plan, but I find myself needing capital for launching a new business soon.
