This is a verified and registered Shelby CSX-T. Total production of these rare Shelby cars was limited to 1,000 units. All 1,000 units were created solely for Thrifty Car Rental, and could be rented for $34.95 a day. Most of the units were sold to the public after their rental life was over. This car is an all original California survivor, and a great starting point for an easy restoration. I've had the VIN checked and registered on www.shelbyregistry.com. Only 201 of the 1,000 are known listed in the registry, with some of those units being destroyed. This car still runs and drives good for its age, the turbo still spools quickly to the factory 5 pounds of boost, and the transmission shifts without any grinds. The CarFax history of the car shows no collision history and the minor issue found on the title was an odometer discrepancy earlier in the cars life. All Shelby added plaques and badges are still intact. Mileage of the vehicle is unknown.
